Rabindra Kanan

A modest park sandwiched between the Raj Bhawan and the road, it would go unnoticed if you don't know that it exists. It was originally the private garden of Maharaja Birendra Kishore Manikya. But now the park with lush greenery and abundance of flowers. It is a happy place to have a heart to heart conversation for anyone who desires.
 
Located on the south of Raj Bhawan, the park is a small little place for leisurely strolls. The main attraction of this place is the 'Puppet Show' that spellbound the little minds. The thing one can definitely expect on entering the place is a colorful abode of flowers ranging from bright marigolds to what not, it creates a wonderful carpet of flowers.
 
Though only the Southern part is made public for general visitors, you can drop in the canteen by the Assam Rifles and enjoy the food in the lap of nature. The park is well maintained and the food served will make your visit complete. A walk in the royal garden makes you feel the royalty of the place which will leave you wanting for more.
 
Only 3 km from Agartala it will take you approximately  5mins to travel from Agartala to Rabindra Kanan. Though a small park but the beauty of the place will forever make an imprint on your mind which you will cherish always.
