Etor, the name of a huge festival of Adi community in East Siang district draws no less foreign and domestic tourists. Etor means fencing in Adi and the festival marks the beginning of the annual agricultural cycle. The Adi people living in the state come together to repair and put up new fences to protect the paddy fields for the season. The entire event consists of a huge feast and puja offerings to appease the gods with traditional songs and dances. It is rich in cultural impressions and offers glimpses of Adi folk culture.
