Day 1: Guwahati

Arrive at Guwahati Airport where you will be received by our representative. Then visit Kamakhya Temple and check it at hotel in Guwahati. In the evening you can opt for a river cruise on the mighty river Brahmaputra aboard Alfresco Grand. Overnight at Guwahati. 

Day 2: Guwahati -Kaziranga

After breakfast start for Kaziranga. The five hours drive will take you through lush green fields of the countryside of Assam. You will also get to see some tea gardens along the way. On reaching Kaziranga, check in at resort and rest. You can opt for a jeep safari into one of the ranges of the jungle if you reach before 3 pm. Overnight at Kaziranga. 

Day 3: Kaziranga

In the morning go for elephant safari into the Western / Central range of the jungle and return to resort for breakfast. Relax in the resort. In the afternoon, go for a jeep safari into the Central / Western range of the jungle. Rest of the evening at Leisure. Overnight at Kaziranga.  

Day 4: Kaziranga- Kohima.

In the morning after breakfast start a 7 hrs drive to Kohima. On reaching Kohima, check it at the hotel and relax. Overnight at Kohima.

Day 5: Kohima

After Breakfast do some local sightseeing in Kohima, visit Kohima Cathedral, World War Cemetery, Museum (optional) and then proceed to Kisama for the hornbill festival. This festival is organized by the Government of Nagaland every year in the first week of December to encourage inter-tribal interaction and to promote cultural heritage of Nagaland. Tourists can enjoy the traditional dances, songs and indigenous games throughout the day. Other regular events are the Hornbill music festival and Hornbill National rock contest, World War 2 car rally, Naga chilli eating competition, Hornbill motor rally, Miss Nagaland beauty pagent and Hornbill literature festival. In the evening, spend some time in the Night bazar in the main Kohima town and relish your taste buds with some exquisite Naga delicacies. Overnight at Kohima. 

Day 6: Kohima-Khonoma(20km/1 hr)

After breakfast visit Khonoma village (20 km., 1 hr), belonging to the Angami Naga tribe. Nagas are traditionally hunter gatherers and much of the wildlife and birdlife in Nagaland has been decimated as a result of excessive hunting, Khonoma, the first and only green village in Nagaland is a fine example of conservation by the local community, where hunting and logging is banned. The landscape of Khonoma with its terraced fields and surrounding hills is breathtakingly beautiful. Over night at Kohima

Day 7: Khonama- Dimapur(78km/2 hours)

In the morning after breakfast drive to Dimapur (2hrs). Visit Rangapahar Reserve Forest famous for its plants variety which is of great medical importance and hence,conserve here for future use Apart from this, you will find a variety of animals in this place which can only be found here.You can also visit Kachari ruins. The Kachari Ruins, the set of ruins in Dimapur, Nagaland, dates back its existence to 10th century and today stands as an epitome of historical tourism in the state. The ruins are a series of mushroom domed pillars created by the Kachari Kingdom. Overnight  at Dimapur

Day 8:Dimapur

After Breakfast drive to 3rd mile, where you will be dropped at the Airport for your onward journey home.
