The festival got off to a colourful start at U Soso Tham Auditorium premises in Shillong attended by art and culture minister R. V. Lyngdoh.
Addressing the gathering, Lyngdoh said that the event will be a platform for the youth to showcase their talents and share their experiences.
Stating that arts and music brings unity and national integration, Lyngdoh hoped that the festival will bring the youth of the State together on one platform and help them to further enhance their abilities and skills.
Director, Arts & Culture, M. W. Nongbri and author, Mukul Deva also spoke at the function.
The six-day Festival which will be held till the October 21 to feature various activities like Arts & Cultural programmes, Short Film Contest and Workshop, Cosplay, Photography workshop & exhibition, Literature Fest & Writing workshop with author Mukul Deva, Guitar Fest & Live Music, B-Boying & Popping Battle (Solo), Beatbox Battle, BMX & Skateboarding Show, Freestyle Motorcycling Show among others.
