Sadu Chiru Waterfall

Waterfalls tell the tales of nature’s beauty and bounty. If properly preserved and protected, the gurgling waterfalls help a state boost the tourism front with huge amount of revenue. Manipur is proud of a waterfall which mints no less money as revenue to the state. This is none other than Sadu Chiru fall. The people in Manipur, mostly, named fall after the spot which is called Leimaram. The people in Sadu Chiru hamlet did a fantastic job when they manually enlarged the 15 metre high waterfall where the entire blue hill rolls down into the a huge portion of the green valley.

This is one of the fantastic tourist spot in Manipur which indeed makes the princely state the “jewel of India.” Apart from Sidu Cahru two more water falls have added the advantage for Manipur. Beauty blooms beneath the green forest. But both the falls are not open for the tourists. The road leading to the waterfalls is not conducive and hence the authority has restricted the entry of the tourists.
