We offer Yumthang Tour Package which consists of 7 nights and 8 days during which 2 nights would be spent in Darjeeling, 3 nights in Gangtok, 1 night at Lachung and 1 night again in Gangtok.

Day 1: New Jalpaiguri Railway station/ Bagdogra Airport to Darjeeling
We would warmly welcome you at the Jalpaiguri Railway station or Bagdogra Airport and assist you to Darjeeling and check in at the hotel where you can have leisure evening and spend the night here.

Day 2: Darjeeling
On this day we would be view breath holding sights of Darjeeling. Starting from early morning at 4 am we would go to Tiger Hills to get the spectacular view of Sunrise from behind the Mt. Kanchenjunga. While returning from here we would visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop where we would see toy train hooting and whistling round the curvy ways. We would return to the hotel to have breakfast and move on to see other sights of Darjeeling like Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Loop, Zoological Park, Tea Garden, Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. In the evening you can fulfill your shopping wish by visiting Chowrasta and Mall road.

Day 3: Darjeeling to Gangtok
On this day after having breakfast we would move to Gangtok and on our way we would witness some wonderful sights of Lover’s Meet point, Confluence of River Teesta and River Ranjit that you can capture as lifetime sweetening memory. Check in at the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 4: Gangtok
We would explore Gangtok after having breakfast in the morning. Get some fantastic views of Bakthang waterfalls, Banjhari Falls, Tashi view point, Flower show, Do Drul Chortan Stupa and many other sights of Gangtok that will thrill you. Night would be spent in the hotel.

Day 5: Gangtok (Tsomgo Lake)
If you are in Gangtok then you cannot return without having wonderful view of Tsomgo Lake. This glacial lake of Gangtok is just amazing in every season. Be it in frozen form during winters or in its full youth during March it is just spectacular to view it and the mule ride by the lake side will excite you, not only this, the local market will definitely force you to get some memoires for yourself and your friends.

Day 6: Gangtok to Lachung
On this day we would proceed to Lachung which is a beautiful hamlet venue of Sikkim. On the way we would get the chance to see Singhik View Point and Seven sisters Waterfalls that will give you some exclusive capture moments. We would have lunch at Namok on the way and stop for a tea break in Chungthang. We would reach and check in at the hotel in Lachung.

Day 7: Lachung to Yumthang Valley
Get ready to have the multi hued view of Yumthang Valley also known as ‘The Valley of Flowers’. We would leave early in the morning to reach Yumthang Valley where we would get to see some of the rare flora of the place. The valley has abundant bloom of thousands of Rhododendrons spotted with fauna of the valley consisting of Yaks, Billy goats and horses that add to its beauty. Return to Gangtok and stay overnight.

Day 8: Gangtok to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport
We would assist you to Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport from where you may proceed with sweet memories of Gangtok and Yumthang Valley.

Day 1

Pick up from Dimapur airport (200 mtrs.) and transfer to Kohima (1440 mtrs.) by surface transport to Hotel. 2 hours drive. Enroute stoppage at various markets, if willing. On arrival at Kohima, local sightseeing, if time permits, depending on the flight arrival time. Overnight at Kohima.

Day 2

Drive to Phesama village and after 3 hours trek, set up base camp by the side of the world biggest Rhododendron tree. This Rhododendron Tree is also listed in the genius book of world record. O/N Base camp.

Day 3

Early morning start the ascend to Mt. Japfu to get a panoramic view of the sun rise. Mt Japfu is located at an altitude of 3048 mtrs above sea level and is also the second highest mountain in Nagaland. After Brunch trek towards Dzoukou valley (2400 mtrs)- via Phesama route and set up camp.

Day 4

Morning-after breakfast, trek to Dzukou valley and spend the rest of the day exploring the verdant valley. O/N camp at Dzukou valley or tourist lodge.

Day 5

After breakfast, trek to Mt Tempfu, which has an altitude of more than 2850 mtrs. After lunch, start the descend towards Kohima via Viswema route. Transfer to Hotel. O/N Kohima

Day 6

Drive down to Dimapur for dropping at airport or spend some few relaxing days at a resort.

Day 1

Pickup from Dimapur and drive to Kohima (74 Kms. 2 hours drive) which is inhabited by the Angami Tribe. Visit to local markets and museum or world war cemetery, if time permits. Overnight Kohima. Kohima; The capital of Nagaland is inhabited by the Angami, Naga. This city has been founded by the erstwhile British Empire. This city is also well known for the 2nd world war battle, wherein the Japanese advance to India has been halted by the allied forces at Kohima. The world war-II cemetery in the heart of the town and other memorials still bears memory of valours and sacrifices. The local markets and museum offers you a vista to the varied culture and food habits of the Naga.

Day 2

Witness hornbill festival or visit Khonoma green village. O/n Kohima. Khonoma: This village is known for eco conservation managed by the village community and has been recognized by the Government and declared as a green village. The village has waged several wars with the Britishers who invaded the Naga hills in the 18th century. A walk through the village and visit to the morungs (Boys Dormitory) will give you an insight to the traditional lifestyle of the Angami Tribe. If time permit, a visit to the mithun sanctuary (unique specie of the Indian Gaur/Bison) is also suggested.

Day 3

Witness hornbill festival or visit Kigwema and Viswema village. A visit to the village offers you a view to the rural lifestyle that exist side by side alongwith modernization.

Day 4

Witness hornbill festival or local vist in and around Kohima and then drive down to Tuophema village in the afternoon. O/N Tuophema at tourist resort in traditional house.

Day 5

Tuophema to Mokochung enroute visit to Ungma or Longkhum village (Ao Tribe) via Wokha (Lotha Tribe). O/N Mokochung.

Day 6

Mokokchung to Mon-via-Assam. Mon is inhabited by the Konyak tribe who were fierce head hunters only some few years back. The Konyak are also known for their tattoos and metallurgical skill. O/N Mon

Day 7

Drive to Longwa and Tang Konyak villages. Longwa is located on the Indo-Myanmar boundary and this boundary bisects the Angh (Local King) residence. The Angh rules over many villages on both side of this International boundary. O/N Mon.

Day 8

Visit Chui village early in the morning and then drive down to Sibsagar, the ancient capital of the Ahom who rules over Assam for more than 600 years. O/N Sibasagar.

Day 9

Visit various monuments in and around Sibsagar. O/N Sibsagar or Dibrugarh

Transfer to Airport for outgoing flight or extend your tour to other parts

DAY 1:- DIMAPUR- KOHIMA (2.30 HRS)
Meet a representative on arrival and drive to Kohima. Enroute stop at some local market, have a cup of tea at ‘Chapru’.
Rest of the day in Kohima. Overnight at Razhu Pru Guest House\

DAY 2:- KOHIMA
Sightseeing in and around Kohima. Visit the war cemetery where thousands lie remembered fighting for the Battle of Kohima during the World War II. Spend time exploring the local markets. Visit Kigwema village.
Overnight Razu Pru Guesthouse

DAY 3:- KOHIMA-  KHONOMA.(1 HR)
Morning drive to Khonoma village and explore the village, meet local craftsmen, visit ceremonial gates, age group house.
In the evening we shall witness some important indigenous games.
Overnight. Home Stay

DAY 4:- KHONOMA- DZULEKIE
The trek starts from the village along the ‘old road’ through a forest of Alder trees. You shall also see Mithun, the state animal and you will have the opportunity to feed them with salt!  Catch your vehicles later and continue along the dirt track to Dzuleke.

DAY 5:- DZULEKE- POILWA- BENREU
Long day of trekking through stunning countryside. Morning, trek through the pristine forest of Dzuleke to the village of Poilwa (2 / 3 trek). You have now moved from Angami territory into Zeliang tribal villages. After lunch at Poilwa the trek continues up from the river valley floor & agricultural fields to the hill top of Benreu village, a staggeringly pretty and totally unspoilt Zeliang village.
The trek from Poilwa to Benreu village takes 3/4  hrs trek!
Overnight Village Homestay.

DAY 6:- BENREU
Either spends a relatively relaxing day exploring the village, enjoying the sun and admiring the scenic view or for the tougher ones, a trek to Mt PAUNA can be arranged, this is the 3rd highest mountain in Nagaland. The climb is not technical, it is just quite steep! The trek is 3 hrs each way.

DAY 7:- BENREU- PEDI- DIMAPUR
The route today drops down through more lush jungle to a small stream before a steep climb to the village of Pedi. The trek from Benreu to Pedi village takes 3 hrs or so! Meet your vehicles in Pedi for the drive to Dimapur (3 hrs).
